CPP for Lamination

  • Cast PolyPropylene (CPP) films had emerged as an alternative to replace other films or laminates with BOPP structures   

  • Lamination with CPP has found an interesting growing market on the Stand Up pouches applications. Some times replacing aluminium foil and acting as well as a sealing layer in addition to providing tenacity and body to the film.

  • These structures have been used for all kind of food packaging  such as soups, sauces, pet food and even detergent and cosmetic packaging

  • Usually the CPP films used for lamination are 3 layer coextrusions to provide a layer with good bonding with the substrate and another skin layer with good sealing properties
