Polytype

Polytype, based in Switzerland, is one of our main partners.  Together we have formed a strategic alliance to integrate advanced extrusion coating and laminating technology into complete systems for the converting industry.  We supply all of the upstream equipment (from the extruders up to the die) and Polytype supplies all of the downstream equipment. 

Polytype’s web based expertise including tissue, foil and film, along with our extensive knowledge of polymer processing, results in systems that work for our customers individual requirements. The partnership of Gloucester Engineering and Polytype offers specialized solutions to customers in the following markets.

The lines, called POLYCOAT, will be available worldwide. Between the two companies, we have manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia and sales, service and support throughout the world.
