Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and liaise the processes of engineering, machining and assembly relating to the Manufacturing activities.
- Organize and plan the manufacturing of complex machinery.
- Investigate operational problems affecting production and resolve issues in a systematic, methodical manner.
- Improve existing operations and incorporate new methods and processes.
- Prepare and present manufacturing documentation and data.
- Identify and implement production cost reductions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Insure customer satisfaction by meeting manufacturing, quality and delivery deadlines.
Qualifications /Experience:
- Engineering Degree. CMfgE or CMfgT certification preferred.
- Experience within a capital equipment manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing and waste reduction techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Great attitude and strong work ethic needed.
- Production leadership a plus.
- Ability to work independently and communicate at all levels.
- Able to lift 25lbs
