GEC Bag Machine Rebuild Program

There are over 5000 Gloucester 418 bag machines in the world today making bags day after day. Do you own one of these work horses? Do you know of one for sale some where?

If so, you may be interested in GEC’s bag machinery rebuilding program!!

In this program, you can return your machine to our factory, regardless of its age for an upgrade and retrofit of our latest servo drive and controls package. (only GEC built machines please)

What is included?

When the machine comes to Gloucester we will replace all hydraulic components with our 4 axis servo drive package:

  1. head lift
  2. shuttle
  3. main drive
  4. relaxation drive

Also included is the computer controls for these drives and the touch screen interface, which includes “PC Anywhere” software, for remote diagnosis and trouble shooting.

All new guarding and cabinets are included for a new, modern look.

Additional services:

Our factory technicians will evaluate your machine and recommend updates replacements and or repairs of non servo components on the machine such as seal head, platen, dancer, idler rolls, nip rolls, shuttle rolls etc. with our factory experts’ report and evaluation of your machine in hand you can elect to have GEC, or your own maintenance staff perform these replacements, repairs or updates as your schedule and maintenance budget permit.

Can't afford to be with your machine while it is being rebuilt? GEC will rent you a loaner to use while yours is in the shop.
