GEC Rotators Rebuild and Exchange Program
Rotators, being the connecting point between the Extruder and the Die is probably the single most important item on a blown film line, that’s why Gloucester Engineering is committed to supplying its customers with the fastest turnaround time by rebuilding or replacing their rotators through our rebuild and exchange program.
Gloucester Engineering has created an exchange program for C-style and K-style rotators. These Rotators are kept in stock at Gloucester to assure prompt delivery and minimum down time for our customers.
Experienced personnel have been added to our Rotator Rebuild Department to assure a quick turnaround on all rotators sent to Gloucester for rebuilding.
What is included?

Stocking of C- Style and K-Style Rotators for next day delivery.

Complete disassembly and inspection of your existing Rotator with a written summary of the suggested rework.

Prior to any rebuild a full quotation and cost competitive quotation will be provided to outline the exact scope of work that is included in the rebuild.

GEC’s Rotator Rebuild Program includes Monolayer through 3-Layer Rotators.

Gloucester Engineering has gone the extra step to assure all Rotators are rebuilt to the most recent upgrades, all parts are cleaned in a vacuum oven, and all parts are then measured to make sure they are too original specs.

Stripping and Re-plating with Electroless Nickel, Chrome or Thin Dense Chrome

For severe damage we offer Dabber welding to build up seal and bearing surfaces.

We can also sleeve the bore of the rotators to accept different size bushings allowing the customer to use the rotators on Dies with different size bore.
